Armstrong Approves Additional Metallaire Finishes For Backsplash Applications
(HIT) - Armstrongs Metallaire ceiling panels have become well-known amongst homeowners wanting to recreate the classic 19th century look of pressed tin ceilings and stainless steel backsplashes in their homes. Now, Metallaires much desired wall applications have been extended, offering homeowners four additional finishes for backsplash applications.
Armstrong recently approved Metallaires bronze, chrome, copper and paintable white 2 x 4 panels for backsplash installation. These join the existing 18.5"x 48.5" stainless steel backsplash panels. Using these multi-use panels as a backsplash is an easy way to transform new or existing spaces, including kitchens, basement bars or bathrooms.
"Metallaire is an extremely versatile product that is suitable for any design style from traditional to ultra modern" said Vicky Landis, Marketing Communications Project Specialist for Armstrong Residential Ceilings. "A metal backsplash can provide a dramatic impact upon a room or be used to complement a Metallaire ceiling. It is also DIY-friendly, easy to clean and can be installed in a weekend."
All Metallaire panels can be easily cut with tin snips to fit a backsplash of any size or shape and attached to the wall using metal bonding adhesive and a few nails. Homeowners can also download an easy-to-follow backsplash installation instruction video from the Armstrong video library at www.armstrong.com.
Ranging from $3.50 to $9 per square foot, available patterns include Small Panels, Fans, Small Floral Circle, Vine, Medallion, Large Floral Circle, Medium Panels, Hammered Trefoil, Wreath, Bead, Large Panel and Hammered Border. Metallaire is made from 60 percent recycled steel and sold exclusively at Lowes. For more information on Metallaire ceiling tiles and backsplash panels, visit www.armstrong.com.
