Scrub-A-Dubs™ Sinks From Elkay Add Whimsy To Children’s Bathroom

(HIT) - Elkay's highly anticipated Scrub-a-Dubs™ children's sink collection is making its debut as a market-ready product at this year's Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Chicago. This whimsical sink collection from Elkay makes kids want to spend time in the bathroom washing hands or brushing teeth.

The Scrub-a-Dubs™ (ELC2416FHBL) sink collection is available in six imaginative designs that include inspired shapes such as a tulip, fish, butterfly and heart. An optional coordinating faucet, Elkay’s Ferrara™ (LK7625CR), offers three colored handle options—translucent blue, chrome and speckled—to match the sink selection.

The Scrub-a-Dubs™ collection of children's sinks is fabricated from durable, solid-surface composite material that cleans easily, won’t crack or dent, and is exceptionally resistant to chips, scratches and stains. Children's sinks are offered in a variety of vivid colors, depending on design, including blue, red, pink, brown, purple, yellow and white.

Some Scrub-a-Dubs™ children's sink models are pre-drilled for single-hole faucets, while on others the faucet is mounted to the countertop. The Scrub-a-Dubs™ sinks have a manufacturer suggested retail price of $299.

Elkay originally launched the Scrub-a-Dubs™ sink collection as a concept product at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in 2005, but quickly put it into production based on numerous inquiries following the show.

Bathrooms tailored to the younger set are growing in popularity. The National Kitchen & Bath Association found that youth-friendly baths are a top request among its interior design members.
