New Surface Care Products For The Home
(HIT) - Four new surface care products have been developed to help homeowners clean and maintain their investments in quality hard surface home improvement products. The new products—Grout Ink™, Stone Color Enhancer-W™, Cooktop Wipes and Stainless Steel Wipes—from Stone Care International help protect natural stone countertops, tile floors, porcelain cooktops and stainless steel appliances, respectively.
"New surfaces present new cleaning, restoration and enhancement challenges for consumers," said Andrew Levine, vice president of Stone Care International. All of the new products will be introduced in Las Vegas at the Surfaces show on February 7, 2007, after which they will be available for purchase from the Stone Care website at www.StoneCare.com.
Cooktop Wipes
Stone Care’s new Cooktop Wipes cut through grease and burnt-on food deposits without scratching or streaking delicate cooktop surfaces. The product is available on the company’s website for $9.55 per canister (35 wipes per canister).
Stainless Steel Wipes
Stainless Steel Wipes are made specifically for cleaning of stainless steel sinks and appliances—including ovens, ranges, range hoods and refrigerators—as well as bathroom fixtures. Stone Care’s streak-free Stainless Steel Wipe formula leaves a protective coating that repels water and finger prints. Stainless Steel Wipes are available on the company’s website for $9.55 per canister (35 wipes per canister).
Grout Ink™ Pen
Stone Care’s Grout Ink™ Pen uses a water-based, non-toxic, low-odor formula to help restore color to sanded and latex tile grouts. A pen-like applicator makes Grout Ink™ easy to apply—and it also eliminates the need for cleanup. One or two simple applications are reportedly all that’s needed to restore tile grout to its original appearance.
Grout Ink™ Pens are sold for $7.99 on the Stone Care website, and are available in white, gray and earthtone colors. Each pen will treat about 160 linear feet of grout.
Stone Color Enhancer-W™
This product enhances the natural color of stone while protecting it with a clear, slip-resistant, low-matte finish. Stone Color Enhancer-W™ reportedly provides UV protection and helps seal out stains in stone products. It won’t whiten exterior stone or harm a stone product’s natural structure, making it ideal for floors, backsplashes and other products surfaced with limestone, tumbled marble, honed marble, honed granite, flamed granite or slate.
Stone Color Enhancer-W™ is available for $26.46 per quart on Stone Care’s website.
