Brown Hue Provides More Design Options For CertainTeed’s Boardwalk® Composite Decking and Railing

(HIT) - CertainTeed Corporation provides professional deck builders more design flexibility with the introduction of a new hue Brown to the color palette of its line of Boardwalk® Composite Decking and Railing. CertainTeed Boardwalk is now available in Brown, Tan and Gray for a wide range of design options.

The new Brown color will age uniformly to a pleasant hue over time. Like the Tan and original Gray color options, CertainTeed’s Brown Boardwalk planks, railing and fascia blend well with brick, wood and natural outdoor surroundings.

Made of patented EcoTech™ material, a blend of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and 100-percent recycled maple wood flour, CertainTeed Boardwalk offers consistent quality and appearance. It has a longer life than wood because it won’t rot, crack, split or succumb to wood-boring insects. Also unlike wood, CertainTeed Boardwalk requires no paint or stain, is easy to clean, and features a Class A fire rating. It meets stringent building safety standards as designated by the ICC Evaluation Services, Inc. in report NER-576.
