Elkay Honored With 2006 Crystal Vision Award
World Vision's "The Storehouse" Program Honors Elkay
(HIT) - Elkay is the proud recipient of the 2006 Crystal Vision Award presented by The Storehouse, a program of World Vision. Elkay is being honored for their overwhelming support and generous product contributions throughout the year that have helped improve the lives of people in need across the nation.
This award is presented by The Storehouse, a non-profit network of building supply centers with the mission of improving housing for low-income families and rehabilitating community facilities in under-resourced neighborhoods. Recently, Elkay volunteered for a special project which provided an "extreme makeover" for the Tabitha House, a homeless shelter for women and their children in Chicago.
Due to contributors like Elkay, over 15,000 people benefited from the safer, warmer and more comfortable living accommodations made possible by The Storehouse in 2005. Elkay will be presented the award at this year's Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Chicago.
