The Elkay Avado Sink Collection Expands:
Four Groundbreaking New Sink Designs Combine Form And Function

(HIT) - Elkay adds even more style and functionality to its popular Avado™ collection of kitchen sink styles with four new undermount kitchen sink models. Two of the four new additions will be featured at the 2006 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. One new model (KBFU401810CDB) features a sink with a stationary middle-integrated work surface with a textured design. Another new model (KBFU342110R) offers an offset shaped sink bowl.

The double bowl middle-integrated work surface model creates a useful new functionality for the kitchen sink—the work surface provides the perfect landing pad for hot pots and pans. In addition, the kitchen sink's two bowls create two separate work areas for the homeowner.

The offset Avado™ kitchen sink breaks from the traditional square kitchen sink mold, as it extends slightly forward along the top adding drama to the design. This feature also provides increased functionality, as the faucet is able to extend further into the kitchen sink with this inset design. The offset Avado™ undercounter kitchen sink is available in both single and double bowl models.

All of the new models feature the Avado™ kitchen sink collection’s signature 90-degree or "zero radius" corners, providing the homeowner with added style, as well as the ability to fit larger pots and pans into the sink. Also, the straight wall design reduces the possibility of glassware breaking as a result of a curve in the corners or bottom of the sink.
