Elkay's Pot Filler Faucet Honored With Platinum Adex Award

	Elkay’s Allure® Pot Filler Receives Top Design Accolade.

(HIT) - In the Design Journal’s April issue, the 2005-2006 Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) were announced and the Elkay Allure® pot filler faucet received the highest honor, a platinum award. Elkay’s Allure® pot filler was honored based on its innovative design. The wall-mounted faucet from Elkay includes a folding arm that can extend 20 inches over a countertop and a joystick handle which offers control over the water’s temperature and volume. The faucet has a heavy brass construction, features a ceramic disc cartridge and is available in both chrome and brushed nickel finishes.

The ADEX awards are one of the largest and most prestigious award programs for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade. Design Journal, the international trade publication for interior designers, architects and facility managers, sponsors the ADEX Awards.

Design Journal introduced the Awards for Design Excellence in 1994 as a way of recognizing superior product design. An anonymous panel of professionals representing a cross section of the design industry conducts all voting for the ADEX Awards. Each category has potential for three award levels of platinum, gold or silver. Winners are announced each year in the April issue of Design Journal.
