CedarStore.com Produces First Cedar Hurricane Gazebo

(HIT)-Coastal residents will again be able to include gazebos in their backyard.

Responding to consumer demand blocked by government regulation, CedarStore.com has become the first company in the U.S. to offer a Cedar Gazebo with a 140+mph wind rating, making the gazebo hurricane proof. The hurricane package from CedarStore.com is also available in Treated Pine and Vinyl and will be available July 30.

After the string of hurricanes, which battered Florida and the Gulf Coast beginning in 2004, many state and local codes mandated that gazebos withstand 140mph winds. After receiving dozens of inquiries from Florida residents, who were being denied permits for gazebos, CedarStore.com enlisted the help of engineers and designers to create a gazebo that meets Florida and coastal specifications, though the gazebo is available everywhere.

The hurricane package is available in three shapes and 42 different sizes. The gazebos are made of #1 grade Western Red Cedar, Treated Pine or Vinyl. Available nationwide, CedarStore.com gazebos are made to withstand the punishing forces of hurricanes, and intense coastal summers. The hurricane gazebo package will come with professionally stamped engineering drawings, anchoring plans, and lots of help for customers going through the permit process.

Since launching on the internet in 1999, CedarStore.com and its sub-division, Gazebo Creations, have doubled sales in each of the past year four years, and expect to do so again in 2006. Gazebo Creations.com now ranks at or near the top of Google’s rankings, as does its sales.
