CMI Introduces Two-Panel Plank Interior Door
(HIT) - Keeping pace with current design trends, CMI has introduced the new Corvado two-panel, square-top plank interior door. The smooth-surfaced Corvado resembles the classic Shaker style door, which originated in the northeastern United States, yet it is versatile enough to complement a broad range of home décors from Southwestern and rustic to contemporary.
The latest addition to CMIs family of CraftMaster® Interior Doors, the Corvado two-panel plank interior door has a distinctive groove and modified sticking profile that provides the rich feel of a traditional plank door, while adding beautiful architectural details. Corvado will be available in standard 6'8" and 7'0" heights and in passage widths from 1'6" to 3'0". Bifolds will be available for most standard openings from 2'0" to 6'0".
"Builders and remodelers are increasingly seeking new interior door options that appeal to the diverse home styles and decorating trends of todays homeowners," explained Bob Merrill, CMI president and CEO. "With the Corvado two-panel plank interior door, we designed the grooves to provide a true ship lap panel look that we feel will be popular throughout the U.S."
Like all CraftMaster doors, Corvado two-panel plank interior doors are manufactured by CMI from molded, high-density fiberboard to resist shrinking, cracking and joint separation, which may occur in wood doors. The two-panel plank door also can be used with CMIs Cellini Series special raised-panel molding to create a truly unique plank door.
CraftMaster is recognized worldwide as a leading brand of raised-panel interior doors, offering a complete line of profiles to upgrade, complement and brighten any architectural style. From smooth or textured woodgrain surfaces to a variety of pre-stained colors, CMIs CraftMaster doors can be found in homes, commercial office buildings, hospitality facilities and other venues throughout the world.
