(HIT) - What’s in a Name Change? The "Casual Living Store at Patio Enclosures Inc.", which carries casual indoor and outdoor patio furniture, says "plenty". Formerly its name was the same as its parent, Patio Enclosures, Inc., North America’s largest sunroom manufacturer and installer of sunrooms. "The Casual Living Store at Patio Enclosures Inc." division first opened in Pittsburgh in 1983 to provide customers with a convenient place to shop for patio furniture after purchasing a sunroom. The division is now re-branding itself as a supplier of high-quality indoor furniture as well as outdoor casual patio furniture and accessories.

"Even in a more competitive marketplace our message is breaking through," said Steven Hossack, Director, Retail Stores at Patio Enclosures, Inc. "Although sales increased through the years, we needed to redefine our brand because our products, although certainly complementing sunrooms with items such as casual seating and dining groups, span a much broader range of indoor and outdoor patio furniture use."

"Many ‘big box’ and home improvement superstores have entered this market offering modest prices for casual patio furniture and accessories," Hossack continues. Because of exclusive buying agreements with manufacturers, The Casual Living Store offers sets of casual patio furniture that are not available to big box retailers.

In keeping with Patio Enclosures, Inc. Earth Smart™ initiative, The Casual Living Store selects products whenever possible that are manufactured from renewable materials such as rattan and recyclable materials such as aluminum and deal with environmentally-conscious manufacturers.
