New SOLO Chest-Mounted Lawn Spreader Is Ideal For Irregular Terrain
Easily Spreads Fertilizer, Seed, Sand ... And Much, Much More
(HIT) - You can spread a larger variety of materials over a hilly, irregular plot of land more conveniently than a wheeled spreader with the new Solo model 421S chest mounted manual spreader from SOLO, Inc. The spreader hopper has nearly 20 pounds (9 kg) capacity and an especially large aperture that makes it easy to fill with just about any materialfrom ice melt, soil absorbers and cleaning agents to seed, fertilizer, palletized lime, birdseed, stock feed, wild game feed and even sand. And, because the built-in agitator allows the material to drop evenly onto the impeller, there is no blockage and coverage is more uniform. The unit also features simple, fingertip controls that adjust both direction and volume of the dispersed material, along with a convenient crank handle operation and a fully enclosed gearbox that drives the agitator and provides smooth impeller operation. The lubricated metal gears assure long life and durability.
The one-of-a-kind spreader is made of rugged corrosion-free smooth polyurethane composites and is constructed to stand upright, even with a full hopper. SOLO, Inc., based in Newport News, Va., is the United States subsidiary of SOLO Kleinmotoren GmbH in Germany, the world's largest producer of sprayers and mistblowers and a leading manufacturer of other outdoor power equipment.
