The siding’s performance includes the characteristics inherent in all Foundry Shake and Shingle siding: Class A fire protection, the ability to cut easily with snips, 170 mph windload (the rigorous Dade County, Fla. Standard) and a proprietary ASA cap for enhanced UV and weathering protection. Vivid color is retained and painting is never needed. In addition, the panels are impact-resistant and will not warp or crack.

Previous generations of stone siding panels display unseemly qualities that result in a contrived appearance: uniform joints, squared off edges and a puzzle-piece look.
