Telescoping Attic Ladders:
The Televator Helps Homeowners Find Hidden Storage Space In The Home!
(HIT) - According to a recent survey, over 50 Million households only have an access opening in the ceiling of their hallway, closet, or garage, yet many do not take advantage of all the opportunities this small opening offers. Werner Ladder's new Televator ladder, a telescoping attic ladder, puts an end to homeowners' quest for more space and easier access for repairs and maintenance.
"Most households have a small access hole somewhere in their home, but until now there was no easy way to take advantage of this opening. Because there was no attic ladder designed for this purpose, people improvised using chairs, step stools or larger ladders dragged from their basements or garages to try and access this hole. Our research shows that 36% of homeowners don't feel safe when they are utilizing these overhead storage and maintenance areas," states Chris Filardi, Vice President of Commercial Marketing for Werner Company.
He added "By introducing the Televator, the first and only telescoping attic ladder on the market, Werner Ladder has given all homeowners easy and secure access to unused space already in their homes and garages. It's like adding a second floor to your closet! It provides easy access for heating and cooling repairs, remodeling, and uncovers volumes of space for seasonal storage."
The Televator telescoping attic ladder is much easier to install than traditional attic ladders. So easy in fact, that it can be installed by one person. Designed specifically for access holes, it fits any opening 22" x 22" or larger. Although traditional attic ladders can't fit into the tight spaces the Televator telescoping attic ladder can, the Televator fits any opening and can be used as a replacement for traditional attic ladders. Due to the varying sizes and finishes of access holes, a door is not included, but all hardware and assembly instructions are.
In addition, the Televator Series telescoping attic ladder features a quiet, easy to open and close, lightweight, aluminum telescoping ladder which has a 250 lb. combined load capacity (weight of user and materials), and folds compactly into the ceiling when not in use. Available in 8 (AA08) and 10 (AA10) models, the Televator telescoping attic ladder adjusts to the ceiling height, eliminating the need to cut the legs to the proper height. A pole is provided to lower the spring assisted telescoping ladder, which features non-marring feet. Plus, the 8 telescoping attic ladder model weighs in at a mere 36 lbs. in an easy to take home, compact package that even comes with its own carrying handle.
