Werner Ladder has a Universal Aluminum Attic Ladder that is easy to open, smooth to close and can make storage as easy packing items in a handy container.

No more concern over how to make it fit. The extra wide opening accommodates most boxes and bins with out-of-season decorations, bedding, clothing, and unused household items of all sizes and shapes. Even skis and bicycles find their way up and down the durable steps, and gas struts eliminate bulky springs that might get in the way.

The Universal Attic Ladder fits all floor to ceiling heights from 8’ to 10’ using the adjustable leg feature. It has extra wide slip resistant steps, a convenient handrail, and a load capacity of 300 lbs.

Easy Installation

Know your dimensions and consult the local building code for residential attic load capacity prior to installation. This attic ladder can be installed in structures with conventional wood roof frames. If there is a ceiling, you must have an access hole in the ceiling that allows entry to the overhead space for pre-installation inspection.

Pre-installation instructions are furnished which help to clarify the necessary expertise such as sawing, squaring and aligning skills that are necessary for homeowners or the professionals chosen to install the Universal Attic Ladder. Two people are required for raising and placing the ladder into the prepared opening.

With a rough opening in the ceiling of 22-1/2” x 54”, this handy aluminum ladder, which is available at major home improvement centers throughout the country, will handily access wasted space for years to come.

The Universal Aluminum Attic Ladder is approximately 16.2” wide with a maximum floor to ceiling height of 10’ 3”. Steps are 3” x 14-1/2” wide. Rails measure 2-3.8”
